Having been moved to our new apartment only a few months ago there are still things missing here and there that would make our living space complete.
Recently I’ve been living in my interior designer era and have been searching for ideas that would give the spaces in our home that additional spark, but still not go too crazy money wise. I have a separate project going on with our small balcony which I still have a few more months to finish before the autumn/winter season quicks in, but in this post, I’d just create a mood board of my ideas that I think would look great in our apartment.

I am recently obsessed with wood and stone details. Wood not only adds warmth to the apartment but also lets you be a little bold and have some unique designs that will bring the overall quality of your room to the next level.
T i p #1 Don’t be afraid to look around at websites you don’t know of. You may easily discover little gems at any shop if you are not afraid to think out of the box. Just type in any clue word on Pinterest and the pictures will lead you to unique designers and shops where you can live your imagination wild.

This may be an obvious one, that’s why I also want it so badly in our home. It will broaden your space, gives more light to it and while you may look at it as a very practical element in your room, you can go a little bit beyond and let your imagination thrive.
Painting is kind of as obvious as the mirror and we all know these days mainstream wall-arts, which of course if you want to follow it’s your choice, but instead of going with the flow with this one I would definitely look around first on the internet to find some cool artist before going into any retail store to buy a one in a million painting.
T i p #2 If you are artsy you can also recreate your favorite wall art and make it as unique as you want. Another post on painting my very own wall art for our living room is coming soon.

Let it be the color of the light or the form of the lamp, if you feel your flat is too simple and would deserve a pop of unexpected, this item is something you can always play with. Same with the plants, a big banana, fig, or olive tree would break boredom anytime and bring you closer to nature.
During my research I came across many awesome webshops that inspired me with their catalog, so here is the list of the websites that I really really liked:

Let me know in the comment below what is your bold piece of choice in your home, so we can draw inspiration from each other!
Have a wonderful day,
Kisses!
